Welcome to my blog! So what is The Cruise Control Diet? In this post I’ll give you a brief intro. (Click here if you would rather visit the official site).
Because of the main stream media, most people have a very negative idea of what it takes to lose weight: starve yourself, eat disgusting foods, exercise until you’re exhausted, and watch the number on the scale go down. They make it seem as though weight loss is really hard work and that healthy eating is complicated.
The goal of James Ward and the people behind the Cruise Control Diet is to change everyone’s perspective. Instead of making yourself miserable, all you have to do is put this system in place, hit “cruise control,” and watch your body transform. There are 4 easy rules in this program:
- Eat natural foods, the kind of stuff you find in nature like fruits, vegetables and lean meats.
- Avoid fake foods, the packaged junk you find on grocery store shelves or in fast food restaurants.
- Indulge every once in a while. Doing this keeps your body from adapting to your new eating habits.
- Don’t count anything. Not calories, carbs, fat, or anything else. It’s a waste of time, and it makes diets stressful.
The Cruise Control Diet works because it’s very simple and not overly restrictive. It teaches you how to tell what’s fattening from what isn’t. (For example, did you know the aspartame and Splenda in diet drinks can cause an insulin spike which leads to fat storage? Or that eating the right kind of fat can actually accelerate fat loss?)
The book covers every type of food, and if you have any questions you can email customer support and they’ll get back to you within 24 hours. To learn more about how this diet works, watch the video presentation.
